Stop 18 - Nob Hill Garage

Originally constructed in 1912 as a two-car garage for Joseph Lewis, it soon evolved into a hub for car repairs and refueling along El Camino Real. Its mission-style facade cleverly conceals a corrugated steel roof. In the 1950s, the garage relocated across the street to its current site.

Camarillo Plumbing and Paint became the longest-running occupant of the building, operating here from 1961 until 2022. Two bricks in the sidewalk serve as a tribute to their enduring legacy.

Today, State Farm insurance resides in the building.
