Stop 2 - A Town is Born

In 1899, Adolfo Camarillo built a mercantile near the railroad tracks for John Sebastian. Sebastian tried to establish a post office named "Calleguas," but the name was rejected. However, in 1901, the name "Camarillo" was accepted, and with that, a new town was officially born.
